Election Law
We have one of the only election law practice areas in Arizona. We represent candidates, corporations and political committees of all types at the federal, state and local levels, including committees formed to support or oppose initiative, referendum and recall measures. A wide range of services are provided including the formation of political committees, campaign finance compliance, drafting ballot measures, petition qualification, preparation of ballot language, and election contests and recounts. We also specialize in matters involving both Sections 2 and 5 of the federal Voting Rights Act and constitutional law. Our attorneys have extensive experience serving as election counsel to government entities such as the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission, the Arizona Legislature, various state officials, cities and towns in all types of elections. We are accustomed to handling a variety of complex election litigation in both the state and federal trial and appellate courts on an accelerated basis.
