Profile
Rick Mahrle is a trial attorney who has practiced primarily in civil litigation for more than 30 years. He joined Gammage & Burnham just after the firm was formed in 1983.

Mr. Mahrle graduated cum laude from Arizona State University College of Law in 1977. He was managing editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. He then clerked for Judge Ozell M. Trask of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is currently a judge pro tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court and has served as a judge pro tem for the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Mr. Mahrle is available to conduct both mediations and arbitrations in employment, construction, and general commercial matters. He is on both the commercial and construction panels for the American Arbitration Association.

From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Mahrle was on the Executive Committee of the Environmental & Natural Resources Section of the State Bar. He has also served on the State Bar's Civil Practice & Procedure Committee and the Editorial Board of Arizona Attorney magazine. He was also included in Southwest Super Lawyers for Business Litigation in 2007

Mr. Mahrle was a member of Class X of Valley Leadership and has served as the President of the Men's Arts Council, a support group for the Phoenix Art Museum. He has served on the Planning Commission for the Town of Paradise Valley since 2001.
