His experience includes: (i) permitting and approvals for natural resource development; (ii) defending litigation on numerous cases concerning the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA); (iii) Climate Change including comment on issues and regulation development; (iv) Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) compliance; (v) defense for civil and criminal liability associated with environmental matters; (vi) coordination of ASTM Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments; (vii) response to emergency incidents; (viii) negotiation of Prospective Purchaser Agreements; (ix) creation of Conservation Easements; and (x) due diligence associated with mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings. He represents clients before federal and state environmental agencies, and regularly reviews and comments upon federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
